The mission of the Trinity Boston Foundation is to unlock opportunity and change the odds for the youth of Boston.

In partnership, we build communities that:

  1. Affirm, inspire, and empower youth and their families;
  2. Offer holistic support for physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being;
  3. Strengthen community health and cohesion across Boston.

Rooted in the unique community of Trinity Church in Boston’s historic Copley Square, the Trinity Boston Foundation is defined by its capacity for innovation and leadership. The Foundation builds on the heritage Trinity Church offers, seeking ways to connect, collaborate and serve.

    within five years of matriculating, complete college or armed services training.
The youth who participate in our programs have greater odds of:
  • Leading lives of their own making;
  • Becoming leaders within their communities;
  • Completing high school with a diploma or GED;
  • Continuing to college or pursuing a clear career path.
Our Programs
Our programs create and support life-giving relationships and strong, safe and healthy communities in which youth can thrive. None of our programs stands alone – all are embedded in schools, faith communities, non-profit organizations and government agencies. Our goal is to build dense networks of relationships and support for youth and families because we believe that only strong and interconnected communities can change the odds for the young people of our city.

Trinity Education for Excellence Program (TEEP)

TEEP is a tuition-free, out-of-school time program for Boston Public middle and high school students (7th-12th grades). Our mission is to create a safe community where every member is inspired to discover, empowered to engage, and individually affirmed.

Sole Train: Boston Runs Together

Sole Train: Boston Runs Together is a non- competitive running and mentoring program that builds a safe and inclusive community to support youth and mentors as they train for and complete a half-marathon.

Trinity Boston Counseling Center (TBCC)

TBCC offers spiritually informed and trauma-sensitive counseling and mentoring services primarily to youth, their families, and staff of youth-serving organizations.
