Trinity Boston Counseling Center
At this time, we are accepting sliding scale fee clients. Please contact us if you have any questions, thank you.
The Trinity Boston Counseling Center (TBCC) was founded in 2002 and serves the mental health needs of individuals, families, and groups in the Boston community through direct services and referrals. Our goal is to provide a safe refuge and inclusive space for clients in order to find healing, purpose, and peace in the midst of life’s complexity. It is our priority to honor each individual’s spirituality and faith background, if any. Our clients include youth, families, youth workers, and other adults. Our primary model for service delivery is to embed ourselves within organizations in need of clinical support. This enables continuity of care for young people and on-site clinical consultation for the organizational staff.
TBCC partners with youth-serving organizations to provide on-site clinical presence for youth and youth workers. We have found that individuals are more likely to access mental health services through a trusted source. TBCC offers a range of services, including individual counseling, staff trainings, and crisis management. Partners include: St. Stephen’s Youth Programs; Dever McCormack Middle School; City Year Boston; Department of Youth Services; and the PACT Initiative (Boston Public Health Commission).
For those seeking to transform their lives, TBCC offers a safe place and trained therapists who are ready to accompany clients on their journey to healing. Licensed clinicians, with years of clinical experience, listen for and address instances of stress, trauma, and exposure to violence. Counseling is offered on a sliding scale. The counseling center accepts insurance under Tufts, Neighborhood Health Plan, BMC Health Net, and Blue Cross Blue Shield.
Training & Workshops
Often, direct service providers are themselves underserved – especially those focused on issues of high-risk youth, poverty, violence, and social or economic injustice. TBCC offers self-care and resilience training to address the personal toll of this challenging work.
TBCC demonstrates its commitment to clinical education through its internship program. The program includes fieldwork, clinical supervision, and the varied experiences of working in an active counseling center. Additionally, interns are encouraged to explore their own areas of interest.

The skills and insight I am learning at TBCC and utilizing in TEEP and with my other clients have challenged me to grow into a better clinician, and I love the community we have together. I am blessed to have this opportunity and I thank the Trinity Boston Foundation for providing this space of justice and empowerment to the Greater Boston community.Vidya Sivan, TBCC Intern and embedded clinician in TEEP
