To all of you who attended and supported Bostonians for Youth 2010 – a hearty thank you!
Almost 450 people packed the Roxy Ballroom/Royale Nightclub last Thursday night to help put young people on the road to college. Topper Carew’s film set the tone for the evening and the speakers were inspiring. We raised $60,000 at the event itself and combined with sponsorships and ticket sales our total is in the neighborhood of $230,000 and climbing.
Bill Brett took some great pictures, including the three below of honorees BPS Superintendent Carol Johnson, Chris and Hilary Gabrieli, co-chairs Jeff and Christine McCormick, FUEL founder Bob Hildreth and honorees Robert Holub (UMass Amherst) and Jeanne-Marie Boylan (Bunker Hill Community College).
If you have a Facebook account, please become a fan of the Bostonians for Youth and Trinity Boston Foundation pages and you will get more frequent updates as we post pictures and finalize our revenues. In the meantime, know how much your help will mean not only to our TEEP and Street Potential students and families, but also to the families served by the RPC Social Impact Center and FUEL.
Thank you as always for all your support.
